Privacy policy — complai.ch
Last updated: July 2026 · governed by the Swiss nFADP; GDPR where applicable
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Compl.AI (in incorporation), Route de Ferney 196, Geneva, Switzerland. For any privacy matter, contact contact@complai.ch.
2. What this policy covers
This notice covers personal data processed when you visit complai.ch or contact us. Data processed inside the Compl.AI platform on behalf of client institutions (for example screening subjects and case files) is processed under the instructions of the respective institution and governed by the customer agreement and a data processing agreement — not by this website notice.
3. Data we process on this website
- Contact by e-mail: if you write to us, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of your message to respond and follow up. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent) for security and operation of the site. Retention is limited to standard log-rotation periods.
- Cookies and analytics: this website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use self-hosted, cookie-less analytics (Umami) on Swiss infrastructure, and Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party analytics cookies to measure visits in aggregate. You can block these cookies in your browser without affecting the site.
4. Where data is processed
We operate Swiss-first. The Compl.AI platform runs on infrastructure in Switzerland (Zurich region). This website is delivered via Vercel (global edge network); embedded content loads from Loom (demo video) and Calendly (booking) when you view or use it, and Google Analytics processes usage data on Google infrastructure. These providers may process your IP address and browser data outside Switzerland. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards under the nFADP.
5. Your rights
Under the nFADP (and the GDPR where it applies), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request a copy in a portable format. Write to contact@complai.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
6. Retention
We keep correspondence as long as needed for the purpose it was provided, then delete it unless a statutory retention duty applies.
7. Changes
We may update this notice as the website evolves; the current version is always published on this page.
